This is where we put out some info about the games we think are going to be somewhere between decent and awesome that release today or later this week.  Typically we skip over the heavy hitters.  Sorry Call of Duty, but 8 million people usually already know about your release date.

Anarchy Reigns – 360/PS3

Buy on Amazon

Developed by Platinum (Bayonetta, Vanquish) and published by Sega.  Anarchy Reigns comes in new at $30 and is a beat ’em up multiplayer game featuring 16 characters with Bayonetta as a promised DLC and packaged with Jack from Wii’s Mad World.  There’s a pretty chance you already know if you want this or not.

Cursed Crusade – 360/PS3

Buy on Amazon

Developed by the relatively unknown Kylotonn and published by Atlus (everything that is good).  Cursed Crusade appears to be a violent combo driven co-op Crusade era action beat ’em up.  While the average gamer may be apprehensive about investing $60 into a new game from an unknown developer, note they won’t have to since it releases at $39.99.

 

Aliens Infestation – DS

Buy on Amazon

Developed by Wayforward (Bloodrayne Betrayal, A Boy and his Blob, Justice League Heroes) and published by Sega (does what nintendon’t).  Yo, its a metroidvania Aliens (yeah that Alien) game.  Buy it, thank me later.
