Videogame Review: Shadows of the Damned

Shadows of the Damned – 360/PS3

Buy on Amazon

My ultimate goal in writing a review is to deliver enough of my personality and enough information that whether you agree with my tastes or not you can still determine whether you’ll like the game or not.  Shadows of the Damned is difficult to write about for this very reason.  Shadows of the Damned is good but lacks a lot of polish.  There are a lot of sections of the game where I imagine most players will simply quit playing out of frustration. News: Video Game Releases

We know you may think you’ve seen part of this post before but we assure you, it IS deja vu.  Period.  No we didn’t get the date wrong for Shadows of the Damned and then post the exact same thing again that we did two weeks ago.  Crazy people who are wrong do that.  And crazy people also believe in gnomes and fairies.  So don’t be a gnome or fairy lover.  Deja vu, people, deja vu!

Shadows of the Damned – 360, PS3

Developed by Grasshopper and published by EA.  Grasshopper is best known for Killer 7 and No More Heroes.  If there is one thing Grasshopper can guarantee, its that you’ll never play another game quite like theirs.  Don’t believe me?  Watch the trailer.

Trench – XBLA

Developed by Double Fine and published by Microsoft.  Something about mechs and tower defense, I really have no idea.  They had me at mech.

News: Video Game Releases

We know so there’s so much E3 going on right now its easy to forget but there are new games out that you can play right now!

Infamous 2 – PS3

Developed by Sucker Punch and published by Sony.  If you only buy one game this week, buy this one.  And if you don’t own a PS3, then buy it anyway.  Yes that’s right.  Sucker Punch deserves your money more than you do.

Red Faction Armageddon – 360, PC, PS3

Developed by Volition and published by THQ.  This game has already been roasted in the reviews but with such popularity on the prequel among Gamers with Good Taste, its hard not to bet on the sequel.
